Based out of Montreal, Canada, Unitronic has been growing exponentially since their 2004 inception when their primary focus was on pro- viding software tuning solutions. They built a reputation over time - not only for increasing vehicle performance, but also for maintaining an OEM-like driving experience which wouldn鈥檛 negatively affect reliability. They did this by extensively testing all their products under various conditions.
Fast forward to the present, and you鈥檒l notice that Unitronic has a com- plete line of complementary hardware products designed to work harmoni- ously with their software. Equipped with a wide array of development tools, including 3D scanners and print- ers, Unitronic engineers can rapidly develop functional prototypes which can then be validated for precise fit- ment, air flow, and power gains - all of which is done completely in-house.
Also available at their facility is a DTS Superflow engine dyno which allows for precise tuning in steady state conditions and a MAHA chassis dyno which sits inside a state of the art, environmentally controlled cell. Inside this cell, air is cycled every six seconds to ensure engines are ingesting fresh oxygen rather than contaminated exhaust gasses, and Unitronic software engineers can even pull the pressure down to simulate mild to moderate elevation changes, allowing them to dial in specific conditions to assure reliability of their performance products anywhere in the world. With nearly two decades on the scene, Unitronic is well connected to the European automotive community, and you can find their employees and dealers proudly representing the brand in some of the largest North American shows for over 15 years now. This commitment to the community has been very successful for Unitronic as it gives them an opportunity to connect with their customers and fans while also giving them a taste of what鈥檚 to come. In that same spirit, Unitronic has also been involved in North America鈥檚 highest level of touring car racing since 2019, fighting for the top spot in IMSA鈥檚 Michelin Pilot Challenge with their bright yellow, #17 Audi RS3 LMS TCR - which happens to be the most successful Audi RS3 LMS TCR in North American history. This challenging series takes the team to 10 of the most iconic road courses around the continent from January to October. Racing at such a high level gives the Unitronic team an opportunity to express their passion for VAG brand vehicles while also collecting tons of valuable performance metrics and data to give them the product development edge in partnership with JDC-Miller Motorsports.
Now more than ever, Unitronic is committed to the future and poised for more growth, investing heavily in new product development. Over the course of the past few years, Unitronic has procured several new vehicles including the Audi B9 RS5, B9 S4, C8 RS6, 8Y S3, 8Y RS3, VW MK8 GTI and MK8 Golf R for R&D purposes. Unitronic is also excited to roll out mobile app integration and lots of new fan-favorite features like true, on-the-fly flex fuel support with its robust new UniFLEX software and hardware package, coming soon for many modern Audi, Lamborghini, and Volkswagen applications.
